The Healthcare debate is over now. It doesn't go nearly as far as I think it should, it has holes and it does feed the greed of some. However, I think its better than what we had. Everyone should be taken care of, everyone.

Tomorrow I start work in the City of Snohomish. I am there two weeks and then I start being in charge of the audit for the County two days before next event. It will be busy, but at least now I will only work 8.5 hours a day instead of 11.5-12. I will get to see the wife more, get to actually work out some more, work on gaming (Mechwarrior) and work on plot for Dying Light.

It made the news over here, and there was great rejoicing! It's a good start, and we've forgiven Obama for pulling out of his visit here at the last minute. Priorities, y'know.

Have fun on your new audit, more time for you and your wife is always a good thing.

Yup, I agree. Better than nothing. It's sad we can't have "more", but... It's definitely better than nothing, and you can bet the opponents are already angry, raving, upset lunatics about just this. Sometimes I'm amazed any change happens at all.

Kucinich had plenty to say about the feeding of greed. He's not often wrong. But, it's a start. If we debated to perfection nobody would see anything in their lifetime. I'm sure Teddy's up there smiling down on us right now.

I'm glad it passed as well, but let's not fool ourselves into thinking *everyone* has coverage. Even the big pushers of the bill admit that there are still people who won't be covered...
