Ipad and XKCD

I have read a little on Apple's unveiling of the Ipad and I still can't tell if it lets you use it as an art tablet. I have a feeling its a no since that wasn't touted. The wife and I were both really hoping it would work like a Wacom tablet. While I love all things Apple, I am not interested in the Ipad unless it can do that, I would rather pay $400 more and get a macbook, or $200 less and get a cheap Wacom tablet. Oh well, time to move on (even though it probably means getting the wife something windows based, Windows 7 sounds ok so maybe it wont make me frustrated as much).

On another point, this comic from XKCD made me a little sad.

Poor, deluded Rover. Maybe we'll visit it in 2430 when we get a manned mission to Mars after Earth has been destroyed.

Most of the time when they say something has shut down, what they mean is "gone black". As in... secret.........
