I realize it has been awhile, but its been rough work wise and health wise. For the last 3.5 weeks I have been working at island county. Its been rough working 12+ hours a day. I usually leave to drive around 5:30am and I get home around 5:30 pm. The drive is beautiful, but long (about 80 miles each direction). Unfortunately my working out has been put aside for the most part until the hours go down in a week.
In addition been having a hard time with the Big H (if you don't know what it is, trust me you don't want to know) which has been making my four hours of driving a day very uncomfortable. It was especially bad when it bled out... yes a bad couple of weeks.
The good news is the reimbursement for these shifts will help pay down our credit card debt quite a bit. In addition I got to work with a coworker who has a CIA certification (Certified Internal Auditor). After having talked with him, and done some research I think I might switch tracks to getting my CIA. Its more useful for me (I like auditing and the CPA is more geared for accounting). It would mean new study materials, but I think I would approach it with more excitement and not so much dread. It is also just as marketable both in the USA and in other world markets.
Other than that, we just went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I have to say this is the first time ever that I think the movie did better than the book. I like the world, but Rowling needs to have an editor cut down all the excess stuff like they did in the first books. It was a pretty good movie though, we both enjoyed it. We are now both sitting in the living room and watching old Night Gallery episodes.
Hopefully I will post more soon.
