I realize it has been a long time. I am going to hopefully go over what has been going on. I was trying to cut it, but my cut ability does not work tonight so I apologize ahead of time.

WORK:
Work has been going very well. I have racked up 40 hours of exchange time (comp time) to use later. I did this working at the County (our biggest audit) and things have been moving along. I have been here since beginning of May and will be here until the end of this month. Next month will be a bit more tricky.

Starting July 5th I work at Island County. Its about an hour to an hour and a half commute each way, this means we collect 2 hours of exchange (comp) time per day just for the travel. The unfortunate part of this is they are closed on Fridays, so we either work 4 ten hour shifts or 5 eight hour shifts (but the Friday shift is at our office). On top of the 3 hour commute time this means I will be busy with.

My carpooling buddies (which sucks, I like getting full mileage, but it does help out the entities) want to do 4 ten hour shifts and take Friday off. This is great, the next five weeks will be 3 day weekends, but I will be working 13 hour workdays the other four days. This means I may have up to 80 hours of comp time by the time I am done (but I may take some time off in that time).

HEALTH:
I have done it, I have been almost two weeks without caffeine and I don't really crave it at all. My sleep patterns are returning to normal. I thought I would sleep longer, but I am back to 5-6 hours of sleep. I suspect this is due to anxiety, which comes to my second part. I have been seeing a therapist once a month the last couple of months for my anxiety. It seems to come from my growing up environment and I can definitely agree on that. I also have been doing some classes on handling anxiety. Unfortunately I don't think those are going well. Nothing bad is happening, but I already know the stuff we have gone after.

I have also been working out steadily for two weeks. Been biking at least 5 times a week and weight lifting at least three times a week. Things are going well and I took my initial measurements. While I am not happy about the initial measurements, it just means when I get to where I want to go, it will be that much more impressive. Also, in a couple of weeks I am going to give up sugar outside anything I make. This way I can bake cookies, but the effort usually means I eat very little of them (plus its healthier then the High Fructose Corn Syrup treats).

FAMILY:
Overall my family is doing well. Both parents are feeling fairly healthy.  is doing well and my siblings have complained, so this feels better already. So family side is doing well.

GAMING:

Gaming has kind of sucked lately. No bad gaming, rather it hasn't been happening. Due to scheduling and losing [personal profile] ducened and her boy we haven't gotten a steady number of players. We have had two games since they left, both games were extremely good. Unfortunately that is as far as we have gotten. I need to find new players.

In good news [personal profile] ethicalcannibal and I are looking at joining a Shadowrun game and maybe a Star Trek game ran by our friend K (sorry can't get lj usernames to work on Dreamwidth tonight same with Ducened's boy above). It will be the first game I have played in, in years (except for the awesome solo games I get). I will have to go out of my way to ensure that I do not get weird about it.

Honestly, I think that is it (or at least all I can do this tired). I get to spend the rest of the weekend with my beautiful wife (and get to go down and visit our friend for the Shadowrun/Star Trek game). I hope things are going well for you all as well.
