Quiet Night
May. 14th, 2009 06:19 amYesterday was awesome. During work I continued to do my normal auditing stuff. I got home around 3pm to find
imake1tgirl asleep under a sheet. Evidently it was one of the sheets she washed and was going to use for costuming. Like a cat, it was still warm from the dryer so she crawled in and fell asleep. I really wish I had thought to grab the camera and take a picture. It was damn cute.
I then changed and the two of us went to Goodwind Kites www.goodwinds.com/ to look at kitesbar spars (cores for boffer weapons).
imake1tgirl had spoken with them the day before and the guy who runs it was incredibly nice. He had explained we could come by and look at their stock (they don't have a store front, but don't mind customers coming to their warehouse). We had a little bit of problem finding which warehouse it was, unfortunately there is no sign. We do find it and we are met by the sister of the guy
imake1tgirl spoke to. She was also incredibly nice. We picked up six pieces of kitesbar and went home.
On the way home we stopped at Red Rock Subs and split a 12" Greecian Sub. We ate, chatted and then I started running one of
imake1tgirl's solo games. That lasted most of the night. We ended the night chatting again, just talking about different things.
I always wonder if people are always looking for new partners because they don't marry their best friend. People seem to always split up their significant other and their best friend. I am still sure thats why my parents (and even my in-laws) are each still married almost 40 years each. Both couples are also best friends. Don't get me wrong, I still have other very close friends, but I do believe your partner needs to be your closest friend.
:)
