Wow Half Life 2 Part 1 Live Action

I knew I wanted to post something today, so I was trying to come up with something I felt was insightful and interesting. That is until I saw this. Its Part I (of how many I don't know). I can tell you though, it is really damn cool.

Yes, this *is* pretty damn cool!

Great work mixing the live-action and CG from the game.

Oh, and my son and I loved seeing them use the crowbar!

The crowbar was great, and all the sound effects of the soldiers dying was awesome too. Makes me want to play the game again :) Maybe all the way from the original.

Okay, so the only experience I have is from the original... I had no idea that they made a sequel. I'm assuming that this is based off of said sequel(s)?

oh ya, the sequel is damn cool (Half Life 2). They then have additional "Episode One and Episode Two) for the video games.

You haven't played Half Life 2? If you want, I have a free activation for HL2 on steam. Bring your laptop and I will set you up with it if you are interested.

Is it like the old one where its just a computer game or is it an online game like WoW?

[identity profile] bakersgames.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
you need to connect online to download it, but its a normal computer game (not like WOW). I have a free HL2 game I can give away from Steam.

According to Warren Ellis, this cost them $500 to make. Of course, that's bullshit, but it's fun misinformation to spread.
